Domains
Domains define the address where a service is reachable from outside. The first documentation version focuses on Tunely addresses. Custom domains will be documented later together with DNS, certificate, and ownership checks.

Tunely Addresses
A Tunely address is assigned to a service in the dashboard. The address should be unique, readable, and appropriate for the published service.
Domain Summary
The summary cards show:
| Card | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Namespace | The active namespace and its Tunely domain. |
| Custom Domain | Whether custom domains are available for the current plan. |
| Certificate | Current certificate state and validity evidence. |
| DNS status | Managed DNS state for the namespace. |
Certificate Status
The certificate card shows covered names, expiration, renewal state, issuer, and assigned agent. Use it when a service is reachable by configuration but the browser reports a certificate or TLS issue.
DNS Records
The DNS records card shows safe read-only DNS evidence. It intentionally avoids showing provider payloads, credentials, DNS-01 TXT values, or private keys.
Custom Domains
Custom domains need clear rules for DNS, ownership checks, and certificate issuance. This section will be expanded once the product flow for custom domains is documented.
Operating Rules
- Use clear names for long-lived services.
- Remove domain assignments that are no longer needed.
- Check DNS and dashboard changes together when a service is not reachable.
